Fortunate year, no large monetary gains foreseen, although you will be able to cut your losses to an admirable degree. Expect freak accidents or malicious rumors. Dog:  Brave, honest, faithful, generous, intelligent, philosophical, unpretentious. Also guarded, introverted, critical, stubborn, worrisome, fault-finding, sardonic, pessimistic. Good as a business person, activist, instructor, secret agent.

In 2001:   After last year's turmoil, Dogs will have a much more favorable period with many opportunities for stability. Expect success at work with lots of recognition, but spending time at home with family and loved ones will bring deep contentment. Good year but you must still work hard to maintain your current position and constantly may have to fight off competition. People will take advantage of your weak position and you will be more susceptible to infections and contagious diseases. This is a time to lie low and join forces with others, rather than act independently. Expect good news in the winter.

Pig (aka Boar):  Faithful, amiable, scrupulous, charitable, fair, sensitive, peaceful, impartial, sincere, tolerant. Also defenseless, cynical, obstinate, insecure, gullible. Good as an entertainer, lawyer.
Compatible with Rabbit or Sheep, not Snake or other Pig.
In 2001:   Expect an atmosphere of uneasiness and disquiet. Focus is on family affairs, where scandal or loss may disturb the pattern of life. Control spending. Hectic and uneasy time with moderate success expected. Occupied with travel, aggressive speculation and joint ventures. Expect some sad news and problems with the opposite sex, as well as setbacks from overspending or extravagance.
Trend:   Time to take stock.
